| Open source spatial monitoring gets SMART for conservation Posted: 20 Jun 2013 02:00 AM PDT  SMART stands for Spatial Monitoring and Reporting Tool. It's an open source solution for wildlife managers working in areas of limited and constrained resources. This software helps them collect, measure, and evaluate data overlayed on a structure of best practices, to increase the mission of the conservation community: to protect and improve the lives of endangered species around the world, maintaining biodiversity.

A small fraction of these have been scanned and put online as pdfs, but they are not fully searchable. |
